roses are red...

More pictures to share -- I'm just so fascinated with the flowers this year I can't help snapping these photos. I guess it could have something to do with my new camera, or the beautiful flowers I have growing in my back yard. So colorful!

big day...

My daughter has had braces since the fifth grade!! Can you believe it! She finally got them off and she couldn't be happier (at least for today!). Anyone who knows Kristin, knows that this is a BIG DEAL (remember that petition she was getting everyone to sign around Christmas?). This is one of the times I would reach to pick up the phone and call my Nana -- it still seems so strange that she wouldn't be on the other end. I sure do miss her!

Here is a picture of Kristin -- life without braces!! The first one is when I dropped her off at school and the second is a picture with my nephew Carter. Oh, and did I mention she got her learner's permit a while back? Yikes!!! I don't know how my parents survived -- can you spell STRESS...

party favors for abigail...

Linda (my sister) called me like two days before the party and said "do you have any ideas?" My reply "of course!" I immediately got in the car and headed out to Michaels and the dollar store to see what I could find on such short notice. This is right up my alley!

Well, I didn't find much at Michael's except some journals (Abby loves to write, what girl doesn't). So I decided to purchase one for each girl so that I could personalize each one. At the dollar store I found some cute little soap petals that I thought I could convert into name plates for each girl. I had such fun creating -- there was glitter everywhere! Here are some pictures to show you how they turned out.

Mission accomplished!

happy mother's day...

happy mother's day!

Hope everyone had a great mother's day!

Kristin had a soccer game (in the rain I might add), and she got a goal! Happy mother's day to me! Then I had my mom and grandma over for dinner, had some wine, played some cards...

how beautiful...

The flowers in my backyard are so pretty -- just had to snap a few more pictures to share.

love, nana

I think my Nana would have loved these beautiful flowers from my back yard -- they brighten my room and make me smile!

slow progress...

Well, I'm making slow progress -- but any progress is good! I have so many thoughts and ideas, just not enough time to do them all!

I just finished this small notebook (titled "happy..."), to purchase your one-of-a-kind creation click here.
