I have lots of ideas in the works -- finding time to finish them all has been challenging! But I'm really ready to get started.
Here is a "sneak peek" at what I've been doing. The hearts are decorated on front and back and the vintage images I used are from an old german book dated 1920 and an old Hymns and Tunes "Gates Ajar" book dated 1885 -- the edges have been dusted with authentic german glass glitter.
For some reason I have always loved paper of all kinds -- like old scrapbooks (especially Nana's), beautiful stationary, handwritten letters and old pictures. I really enjoyed making these!

Oh my, I am so impressed. The border at the top of your page is beautiful. And those hearts you made (front & back) are just awesome - I really like them. Needless to say, I love the new journals. I wish your Nana could see what you have done. I remember how excited she was to get your homemade things - you just can't imagine! Love you lots, Aunt Pam
Your hearts are beautiful. Are they wood hearts? I also love old images, especially old childrens readers. Those are my favorites.
I have a google alert for "glass glitter" and I find some of the most beautiful projects!
